To fuel your design imagination, I've pulled together eight of my favorite beach house rooms. I hope they will inspire your decorating dreams. Light, airy and gorgeous, this kitchen has lots of beach house appeal. I love the way the tile backsplash goes all the way to the ceiling behind that lovely stainless steel range hood. The wood on the breakfast bar, ceiling and surrounding floor is a beautiful contrast to the all-white painted cabinets.

This dining room and the stunning ocean view beyond make for a perfect pair. How beautiful that hanging light fixture is--so right for this space.

Tiles in watery hues, chunky stone countertop, warm antiqued cabinet and two small paintings come together to create a subtle charming beach bath.

Created by designer Victoria Hagan, this blue bedroom is as beautiful as its view of the sea. My favorite element in the space is the cleverly hung pale drapery panels at the windows and stunning arched door.

This masculine bedroom also has a beautiful ocean view. Combining a mix of tans with a bit of deep blue, it's at once chic, warm and inviting.

Just what every chic seaside space needs—a pristine white boat with varnished wood trim. This one hangs from the ceiling by a rope which ends in a stylish coil on the floor. Another, much smaller, but lovely touch is the unique hanging lantern.

This tall, slightly rustic, space is filled with chic neutral beauty. It's a calm soothing environment that lets the ocean view be the focal point of the room.
